BVC Consultant III: Practitioner


BVC Practitioner is a comprehensive four-day accreditation programme (with pre- and post-work) that empowers and authorizes the use of the Barrett Analytics to support leaders and organisations in their cultural transformation journey. This program draws from Part I and II, providing an equal exploration into the foundational aspects addressed in Part I and the analysis of BVC assessments in Part II, with additional emphasis on how to support whole systems change.

This programme is designed for experienced Consultants, Coaches, Facilitators, Talent and Corporate Development Managers who want to augment their consultative toolbox by leveraging the Barrett Model and BVC data to catalyse leadership and employee engagement.

Note:  If you are new to coaching or consulting or working with psychometric tools, we recommend starting with Part I or Part I & II combined.


BVC Consultant III – Practitioner:

  • Provides you with a deep understanding of the Barrett Model and Barrett Analytics.
  • Invites you to examine what it means to lead from a values-based perspective and the impact this can have as you work with leaders and organizations by taking your own Leadership Development Report (LDR).
  • Allows you to practice receiving and delivering LDR feedback.
  • Enables you to confidently conduct, analyse, interpret and share BVC assessments findings with leaders and teams, working with real-life case studies across industries, such as a complex Cultural Values Assessment (CVA).
  • Offer insights from a variety of models and tools that will help inform your capacity to assess the readiness of your clients to embrace values-based leadership and cultural transformation.
  • Help you maximize your training investment with two complementary assessments, the Individual Values Assessment (IVA) and Leadership Development Report (LDR) or Small Group Assessment (SGA) and receive ongoing mentorship from the BVC Global Network.
  • Gain access to a repository of BVC materials that will support your practice.


Global Partner Faculty

The first step to becoming certified at this level is to sign up for a user account in Compass and then select and register through the BVC Calendar for a Practitioner session you would like to take with one of BVCs Global Partners. Each Partner weaves in unique experiences and expertise while addressing all the core competencies and learning objectives of the programme. For example, one Partner may have more experience in conscious capitalism while another in large corporate organisational dynamics.

Note: BVC’s Global Partner Faculty deliver this programme publicly as well as privately.  The standard price for this programme is $3600/$3400 (live/virtual) per participant.  Partners may elect to adjust this price based on each programme’s unique circumstances. Private group sessions can also be arranged with each Partner directly.


After enrolling in your selected session, our Partner will inform and guide you in completing your self-paced pre-work. This generally includes:   

Note:  This pre-work is a pre-requisite for being able to participate in the Practitioner programme.  This pre-work must be completed within 2 weeks of the training start date.  Some Partners may also invite you to participate in pre-training webinars and/or suggest additional reading based on their areas of expertise.


Upon completing your pre-work, you will be ready to participate in your programme.  Most Partners deliver the program over four days. Some offer a three-day intensive.

Just before your training session begins, our Partner will provide you with the materials and workbooks along with any specific materials you will use during your training.

All Partners cover the following content, providing their unique insights based on their professional expertise and experience.

Presents the big picture:  Why is measuring and monitoring values and culture important? What’s involved in the journey, beginning with gaining awareness of your values and how values alignment influences organisational culture.  The Barrett Model is explored in great detail drawing upon the use of both the Personal Values Assessment (PVA) and the Individual Values Assessment (IVA) to understand the importance of personal values alignment in organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.

Introduces the organisational perspective, providing insight into what informs and shapes the structural alignment of an organization’s core values and espoused values.  Organisational factors that impede progress and innovation, cultural entropy, are explored alongside what reinforces organisational growth, customer satisfaction, innovation, internal cohesion and the capacity to create a thriving culture that can make a difference. Focus is given to learning how to effectively analyse and share the results of a Cultural Values Assessment (CVA) and Leadership Team Values Assessment (LTVA).  Real-world cases across industries are discussed.

Deals with the use of the Barrett Model for developing leadership awareness. We look at 360-degree feedback tools for assessing leadership values ​​and the Leadership Development Report such as the Leadership Development Report (LDR) and Leadership Values Assessment (LVA).

You will have the opportunity to practice giving and receiving feedback using your own LDR, which is administered as a prerequisite prior to the start of the programme.

Addresses the development of vision and mission statements.  All of the tools reviewed throughout the program are pulled together to show how they support the process of Whole Systems Change. Additionally, participants are encouraged to identify how they will seek to launch their practice utilizing two complementary assessments that are offered at the end of training: a Small Group Assessment (~CVA for up to 20 individuals) and an LDR.

At the conclusion of your session, our Partner will provide you with your Certificate of Accreditation based on your experience in the course and level of confidence to represent the Barrett Model and work with the BVC assessments as covered in the programme.


Upon completing your programme, you will also receive an email from BVC welcoming you to our BVC Global Network inviting you to join our online community in Compass and MyBVC, with contains a wealth of information and resources.

In addition, we will help direct you on how best to use your complimentary Individual Values Assessment (IVA) and a Small Group Assessment (SGA) or Leadership Development Report (LDR). These are valid for up to six months to enable you to immediately practice what you’ve learned.

You will also be invited to participate in and contribute to our BVC in Action webinars and other professional development opportunities.


Upon successful completion of these three phases (approximately 48 hours of study and experience), you will be ready to share your accreditation as BVC Certified Consultant.  You will be able to run your own workshops and expertly guide your clients in their leadership and organisational culture journey.


Your programme fees include TWO complimentary assessments: The Individual Values Assessment (IVA) and a Small Group Assessment (SGA) or Leadership Development Report (LDR). These are valid for up to six months.
