Anita lives and works in Johannesburg, South Africa and runs her own consulting practice, Anita Verster & Associates. The main focus of her work is Culture and Individual transformation, Individual and group mindfulness coaching & training, and Leadership Development and Coaching. She has experienced the BVC training as transformational in nature and hence finds fulfillment in observing and becoming a partner in the individual and organizational well-being that flows from this work.
She aims to create clarity and brings compassion to the certification programs and her intention is always to create a conducive and safe space for learning, experimenting, experiencing, and growth. As a qualified psychologist and previously IT Management Consultant, Anita brings a mix of soft and hard skills to her training.
After recently reflecting and contemplating her personal and professional values again, she found that her values have shifted somewhat, although the themes remained the same. Currently, her top three values are knowingness, well-being, and integrity. Knowingness for Anita brings clarity and truthfulness yet a strong sense of humility. Well-being is still very important to her – and includes the spiritual, physical, emotional and mental domains of life. Without integrity she feels everything falls flat; hence her choices, decisions, and actions bring a sense of inner calm and peacefulness which, as she matures, become more and more important to her.

Ingunn has been a cultural transformation consultant for more than 15 years. She has led several cultural transformation projects for a range of different clients, public, private and NGOs. Values make it possible to gain deep insight, build relationships and become concrete when dealing with an abstract field like culture. Values motivate us to reach common goals and coordinate our efforts in teams and organisations.

Pleuntje van Meer (Netherlands and UK) works as trainer, (academic) mentor, individual coach and sparring partner for business leaders. She seeks to inspire others with energy, original thinking, inquiry and feedback. Her grounding principle is that practices of good work contribute to a better life-world for all.
Pleuntje has collaborated with the Barrett Values Centre since 2001, as training partner and as advisor for corporates and mid-size organisations. Her aim for her trainings is to support participants in experiencing the materials and working with culture, and values effectively. Her workshops prepare with upfront reading and video’s. The stories of client work and case studies, are meant to help you to think through options in your work. You receive insight into approaches for working with individuals, small entrepreneurs as well as leaders and boardroom-meetings. To design a learning and change intervention or to implement core values, are reasons for clients to ask our support. The training offers plenty of space for your questions and case-studies and it is followed with practical support.
Pleuntje’s academic theory is that we learn and grow in connection, with each other and with ourselves, through deepening and integrating our values. Furthermore her ontological theory is that extending ways of knowing, expands ways of being. What she has learned about values is the importance of giving them meaning outwardly as well as inwardly, through reflexive inquiry. Her practice of artful knowing aims to design humanising, action oriented learning experiences. The values she brings to life in her work are learning, integrity and commitment. Pleuntje shares her ideas in articles, book chapters, and toolkits, through the BVC website LinkedIn, and www.synnova.com.
Pleuntje’s personal values are making a difference, creativity, freedom and care. She enjoys study, writing, walks and creative explorations in her painting studio. She spends voluntary time as a mentor for refugees and in a Dutch economic think tank. Home is for her the best place to recharge, connect with family, friends and her dog Tika.
Feedback from participants:
“Dear Pleuntje, I couldn’t find enough words to say thanks for that amazing journey in Barrett’s analytics. It is really very close to my mind and heart. I’ve already created small team in my company to continue learning, sharing and practice. I am also working on our corporate values.” Online training, 2020.
“For me it was first time to attend this type of on-line training and I was not sure how effective it would be. In spite of zoom I had a sense of being physically with you all in one room. Other positive things were that you ensured very positive atmosphere, which helps me to open and be engaged. Your exercises were very well integrated with the theory and especially the discussed case studies were super effective for this course.” Online training, June 2020.
“A great training! We received insights in the story behind the story and in how to start dialogues differently. The discussion on some real cases was a highlight, this made things so practical and unleashed great exchange on how to apply this work”. The Hague, Netherlands, 2019.
“The training gave me an opening into the world of culture transformation. Pleuntje is a confident and competent trainer and consultant, who goes the extra mile to share her knowledge and skills. It was a pleasure to attend her courses and to engage in business discussions with her”. Online training, May 2020.
“I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop and feel inspired and encouraged to go further with my personal evolution as well as to help others to do the same.” London, UK, 2019.
“The highlight for me was the continuous dialogue on how to interpret the values assessment in stimulating systemic, whole systems change!” The Hague, Netherlands, 2020.
